05:58 pm - MacBook
Hi all,

Well, my MacBook arrived last week, and I can easily say it is the sexiest thing I've ever owned (although Betty will claim that role, once I kidnap her).

I'm sitting outside in my garden, and I've just edited a load of photos whilst doing so (you can see them below). However, there are scary bugs out here, so I might go inside soon.

The MacBook has been out for a month now, and it's not to be confused with the iBook! Inferior laptops ftl D:

Seriously, this thing is so amazing. The interface takes a while to get used to, but once you've learnt how to use it, everything is so simple and clean (I'm sure Utada was inspired by the Mac interface). The window and click effects are great, too. There are also buttons you can press to display all of your windows on the screen at the same time, all windows from that applicaion (i.e. MSN), your desktop, and the Dashboard.

The Media Center is absolutely mindblowing, too. The thing comes with a remote, and you press the remote on the button for the desktop to fade away into the background and the beautiful Media Center to pop up. Here you can watch HD DVDs, listen to music, look at pictures, download movie trailers, etc. The other night my brother and I watched a DVD on it in his room, at like 2AM XD

And Photoshop works so well on here. It's like it was born to be used on a Mac! Images also look much higher quality too, and everything loads pretty much instantly.

Yesterday my friend visited and tried to spend as much time with my MacBook as humanly possible XD

Behold, photos:

Eddz's MacBook
The MacBook, with the remote to the right and the DS Lite to the left.

Eddz's MacBook
It's actually pretty small. And it's got a glossy widescreen.

Eddz's MacBook
It's not a normal laptop keyboard. Pressing keys results in great pleasure.

Eddz's MacBook
All the ports you could ever need. Including built-in TV ports, and it acts as a wireless hotspot.

Eddz's MacBook
The power button just looks like it's a symbol on the shell, and not a button, from a distance.

Eddz's MacBook
The iPod-style remote.

Eddz's MacBook
Yeah, it's pretty glossy.

Eddz's MacBook
The Apple logo is lit bright white, and looks great in a dull-lit room.

Eddz's MacBook
It's skinny. Very skinny.

You can see my desktop on my deviantART page. This thing is hott secks ;_;

Re-title journal entry to: Proof on how Nintendo copies Apple - DS Lite looks exactly like a mini MacBook.

Nice Zelda poster, btw.
